About Luke Skywalker From Star Wars Franchise
In “Star Wars: Episode IV – A New Hope,” Luke joins Princess Leia, Han Solo, and others on a mission to deliver the Death Star plans to the Rebel Alliance. With the help of Obi-Wan, he also begins to develop his Force abilities. By the end, he delivers a critical shot to destroy the Death Star. In “Star Wars: Episode V – The Empire Strikes Back,” under the tutelage of Yoda, he hones his Jedi skills on the remote planet of Dagobah. In addition, he faces many personal and physical challenges, including the discovery that Vader is his father. It ends with his hand getting amputated and Han Solo being captured.
In “Star Wars: Episode VI – Return of the Jedi,” Luke confronts Vader and Emperor Palpatine to redeem his father. This is followed by the prophecy of the Chosen One being fulfilled when Vader turns against the Emperor to save him. Thus, the Galactic Empire is defeated, and Anakin Skywalker finally finds redemption through his son.

But in “Star Wars: Episode VIII – The Last Jedi,” he trains Rey despite being reluctant to return to the fight. Finally, in “Star Wars: Episode IX – The Rise of Skywalker,” he reappears as a Force ghost to guide Rey.
