Easy DIY Persona 5 Joker Cosplay Guide

Joker is the main protagonist of Persona 5, canonically named Ren Amamiya. He is a second-year transfer student at Shujin Academy, where he was placed to continue his academics due to his ongoing probation after being falsely framed for assault. At the start of this iconic game, Ren sacrifices himself to protect another, losing all his power and influence within the world. Don’t let his quiet demeanor fool you, though; in his teammates’ eyes, Ren is codenamed “Joker,” and to the residents of the Velvet Room, he is the “Trickster.” Furthermore, he is the leader of the rebellious Phantom Thieves of Hearts, a group that aims to change society by touching people’s hearts and performing illegal heists!

To dress like Persona 5 Joker, wear a Joker costume and black boots, red gloves, a Joker mask, and black boots. Then, wear black hair and polish off the costume with a short sword accessory.

About Ren Amamiya From Persona 5

Ren’s story begins as he discovers his ability to enter an alternate reality known as the Metaverse, where distorted desires take the form of palaces. Here, he awakens to his Persona, Arsène, and forms the Phantom Thieves of Hearts, a group of rebellious individuals seeking to change the hearts of corrupt adults by robbing them of their distorted desires. Aim to reform society by making the evil confess their wrongdoings and atone for their sins.

Ren and company navigate various palaces, each representing the distorted desires of different antagonists. Among them is Masayoshi Shido, the main antagonist, an influential political figure whose actions impact the entire nation. The Thie also seeks to uncover the truth behind Shido’s rise to power and connection to other mysterious occurrences in the Metavwell.

As the Phantom Thieves progress in their quest, they encounter enigmatic beings known as the Velvet Room attendants, Igor and his assistant, Caroline and Justine, and so on. The Velvet Room serves as a metaphysical space that assists him in developing and managing his Personas, the manifestations of his inner strength. His journey is shaped by his interactions with friends, mentors, and adversaries, ultimately culminating in a dramatic confrontation with Shido and the revelation of the true antagonist pulling the strings behind the scenes.
